In our case, we are doing migration of apps currently deployed on Oracle Weblogic and physical servers to virtual machine clusters on Tomcat. Additionally, making tweaks to applications for deprecated and unsupported application functionality, ejb migrations, grails and java version upgrades etc. I'd envision the consultant would be able to run the applications in their existing state, fully redeploy those apps in the new infrastructure and ensure all functionality works. The Challenge Offered

blue chip clients already
on board. This is a B2B enterprise sales position that requires achieving buy-in
from multiple stakeholders. The
key objectives of this position are executing on deals at the initial stage and
creating new ones. You will be
converting leads and pipeline targets, with the main focus on the US market. The
role will report to the CEO. This is
a combined tactical and strategic role.
Position Responsibilities:

with extensive hands on experience to work as a part of the Big Data Application
Team on building and running real-time event-series applications on world-class
Hadoop clusters and technologies.

Accountable for delivering robust frameworks, real-time application solutions,
and implementing an efficient build and deployment processes, all on the

Requirements/ Technical Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree required

3+ years of solid solution architecture and application development in the
Hadoop technology stacks

2+ years experience in building real-time, event-driven applications within a
Hadoop platform

Demonstrated experience in architecture, engineering and implementation of
enterprise-grade production big data use cases

Extensive knowledge about Hadoop Architecture and HDFS

Extensive and expert experience in Java, Apache Spark/Spark Streaming, Kafka,
and Map Reduce

Extensive hands on experience in Shell Scripting, Scala, or Python programming
experience; Hive, Pig, Drill, HBase and SQL

Hands on delivery experience working on popular Hadoop distribution platforms
such as MapR, Cloudera, or HortonWorks

Hands-on experience in Real-time Eventing, Time Series Databases and In-Memory
Data Grids (IMDGs)

level; ability to drive big data technology solutions and partner with
