Ruben Gerardo Ubiera Gonzalez (born October 19, 1975 in Santo Domingo Dominican Republic) is a neo figurative artist who derives most of inspiration from mans relationship with his surroundings. His work incorporates still life, situational portraiture, and city landscapes with emphasis on the line and accented with paint drips; Ubiera often uses discarded everyday items such as cigar boxes, newspaper, and card board as his canvas.
